To adapt and develop educational concepts and materials according to the specific Austrian requirements for the existing hardware and software.
Accompanying projects
Students at University of Teacher Education Styria and Graz University of Technology are working on several projects within the context of the OLPC pilot program.
Among other things two students at University of Teacher Education Styria wrote their bachelor theses about projects which they undertook in the pilot class. They are available for download below (please note that they are in German):
- "Das OLPC-Projekt ('One Laptop per Child') unter dem besonderen Aspekt des Mathematikunterrichts" by Angelika Kornberger
- "Das OLPC-Projekt (One Laptop per Child) unter dem besonderen Aspekt des Deutschunterrichts" by Magdalena Meneweger
Additionally students at Graz University of Technology in collaboration with the teachers in the pilot class developed the Activity ReckonPrimer to enable students to practice basic Mathematics.
